VIVIR SIN TI:
Living Without You
A LOVE LETTER TO MY MOTHER, KAREN, WHO THROUGH HER DEATH, HAS BROUGHT BACK LIFE INTO ME.
Vivir Sin Ti: Living Without You by Filipino emerging artist Daphne Dado, consists of contemporary and semi-realistic figurative art pieces that explore the intersections of grief, self-identity, culture, and religion.
She aims to reveal private moments, emotions, and introspections into shared human experience. These pieces will be paired with written statements to reflect Daphne’s personal journey of loss, pain, and rebirth.
Public programming will be available for the audience to take part in and interact with the artist, with a focus on community, safe spaces, and shared healing.
